Interest in Health at Every Size (HAES) is growing fast. People are tired of diets, tired of feeling like failures, and tired of being scared of food. They are excited to find a paradigm that respects the diversity of human bodies and starts from the very basic premise that they can trust themselves - a paradigm that respects pleasure rather than denial.

Soon there will be an opportunity for you to register your voice in the HAES movement.

You'll also find a freely searchable database of individuals committed to HAES. Looking for a psychotherapist who will support you in kicking the diet habit?  How about an artist to design your book cover? A videographer experienced with delivering HAES content? A musician with a “love your body” message? An academic who recognizes fat studies as a legitimate field of inquiry? An activist to come speak at your school and challenge the status quo? You’ll find them all – and more - in the database! And there's room for you to join!

And there's more: a HAES Resource List that provides information about organizations, websites, blogs, books, and other media that support HAES. Get your resources on the list, and check out what others are doing!

All this and more (free) services, will be available soon.

Check back soon for more information. Target launch date is November 1, 2008. Follow the link for information about Bacon's book, Health at Every Size: The Surprising Truth About Your Weight.
